Shaheel Bhuva

Dr Shaheel Bhuva is a Consultant Radiologist at Oxford University Hospitals, an internationally renowned tertiary referral centre. He will be providing his expertise and extensive experience in ultrasound to deliver direct access high-quality clinical care at the Stanmore Wellness Centre.

He qualified from University College London and completed his radiology training and specialist fellowship at Leeds University Teaching Hospitals and King’s College London, Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals. He has won multiple awards for presentations at national and international meetings, published articles in peer reviewed journals, and has been a lecturer and undergraduate tutor at the University of Oxford.

Ultrasound is often a crucial diagnostic test that can help diagnose (or exclude) common causes for pain and swellings. This includes but is not limited to stones in the salivary glands, gallbladder, and kidneys, and benign and cancerous tumours in the head and neck, abdomen, and lymph nodes.

Dr Bhuva will perform a comprehensive ultrasound scan to investigate your symptoms, provide a jargon-free explanation of the findings, and answer all questions with clarity and compassion. Following this, whether referred by a GP or self-booking, he will send a clear written report to you and your GP.
